God’s Appointed Times: Why They Still Matter Today
What if God has specific moments on His calendar designed to draw you closer to Him? In this session, we’ll explore why God calls certain seasons His appointed times, how a biblical mindset shapes expectation and obedience, and what it means to step into God’s patterns rather than our own.
Key Idea:
God established appointed times as invitations for His people to align with His purpose and experience His blessing.
An Invitation God Initiated
I’m going to be sharing with you ancient biblical secrets that we’ve overlooked for generations—truths that I believe can unlock unusual favor and blessing from God in your life.
Unless the Holy Spirit makes these truths real to you, this is just going to be more information. But my heart is to create a place for:
- God’s name to be hallowed
- His role in your life to be honored
- You to be blessed
Blessing With Purpose
Wouldn’t it be great to experience supernatural blessings from God that you didn’t have to chase—but that actually chased after you?
Instead of worrying about problems chasing you—bills, sickness, or uncertainty—imagine living with the confidence that God is watching over your life and providing for you.
I believe that if you follow these biblical principles, your life will never be the same again.
A Hebrew Way of Thinking
Throughout Scripture, God gave His people specific instructions that released His uncommon blessing and favor. These principles and blessings still operate today.
To understand what releases God’s blessings, you need to have a biblical—or Hebrew—mindset. The Jewish people knew that when they learned to think like God thinks, and when they fulfilled the conditions of His promises, they prospered.
Rediscovering What Was Lost
The Bible contains many keys that unlock God’s blessings. But one of the most important is found in the three specific appointments God commanded His people to observe.
God calls these His appointed times, and they relate to three specific feasts of the Lord:
- The Feast of Passover
- The Feast of Pentecost
- The Feast of Tabernacles
These feasts were never random celebrations. They were divine appointments between God and His people.
A Call to Alignment
This first session sets the foundation for everything we’ll explore in this course.
God still calls His people to walk in step with Him. His appointed times are invitations—opportunities to align our lives with His calendar and experience the blessings that come from obedience.
Quick Review:
What are the three appointed times God commanded His people to observe?
Reflection Question
How does understanding God’s appointed times reshape your view of blessing?
Prayer
Father, thank You for revealing Your patterns in Your Word. Give me a willing heart to honor what You honor. Teach me to walk in obedience and trust Your promises.
What’s Next?
Next time in “The Blessing God Promised—and Why Many Miss It,” we’ll explore how Scripture defines covenant blessing and calls believers back to God’s biblical pattern.
