The Power of Hearing God’s Voice

What if you awakened each day to the sound of God’s voice saying, “You’ve got this!” Would it make a difference in the way you approached your day? Would it make a difference in you?

Let’s face it—our world is a mess. Wouldn’t you agree it’s easy to become discouraged? Perhaps you’ve even thought, What’s the use? What can I do that would really matter?

It’s in those very moments that you must know how to power up—so that you never give up!

The Source of Strength

Rather than focusing on what you might think or say to yourself, God wants you to remember Who He is and what He has already declared:

I am the LORD, and there is no other,
besides me there is no God;
I equip you, though you do not know me (Isaiah 45:5 ESV).

Here’s what you must remember:

• Because you are striving to do what’s right…
• Because you are trying to make a godly difference in this messy world…
• You have placed yourself right on the frontlines of the battlefield!

It’s as though you have a target on your back from the enemy.

But you know what? That’s OK—because God is here to help!

Equipped as First Responders

God has impressed upon my heart that those of us on the frontlines also need the tools to be first responders. We need to be able to access His Word quickly—right when we need it.

Then we can stand empowered and equipped, never giving up but ready to:

• Fight
• Stand strong
• Win the battle

One night, I got up to get a drink of water. Anxious, discouraging thoughts filled my mind: Does what I’m doing even matter? What difference does it make?

Maybe you’ve had similar thoughts. But let me ask you—do you think those thoughts come from God? Of course not! We know better than that.

Just as I felt the enemy’s target on my back, I also felt the presence of the Lord right behind me. And He whispered to my heart, “You’ve got this!”

God Always Shows Up

Let’s face it—ever since Eve in the Garden, the enemy has used the same tactics over and over again:

• Discouragement
• Fear
• Temptation
• Disappointment
• Lies

He’ll do anything to try to keep us from following God and fulfilling His call on our lives.

But here’s the good news: Ever since Eve, God has been showing up. He is always there, offering:

• Hope
• A way out
• Strength for the battle

Even in our darkest times, He reminds us that He has equipped us for every fight.

Fear not, for I am with you;
be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10 ESV).

Prepare for Victory

Our battles are not easy—and we know that.

As Miss Clara said in the film War Room,

“To win the fight—to complete the mission—you’ve got to have the right strategy and the right resources, because victories won’t come by accident!”

So let me ask you:

• Are you in a battle right now?
• Do you want to prepare for a future battle?

Then I invite you to join me on this journey. Together, let’s discover the biblical strategies and resources that will fortify us for every battle we face.

Friend, there is no need to feel ill-equipped or weary. God is on your side. He is your strength, and because of that, you can courageously say:

“I’ve got this—because God’s got me!”

Prayer

Lord, thank You for reminding me that I never face life’s battles alone. Help me to trust Your strength and stand firm in faith. In Jesus’ name, amen.
