Gentry and Hadley Eddings serve in worship and discipleship ministry at Southland Church in Indian Land, South Carolina, where Gentry is the Lead Pastor. Together, they are passionate about helping others grow in their walk with Christ—especially those navigating seasons of grief, hardship, or loss. Their course Be Still and Know flows from personal experience, offering not just biblical truths, but the lived-out assurance that God is present in our deepest pain.

In 2015, the Eddings experienced the unimaginable loss of their two young sons, Dobbs and Reed, in a tragic car accident. Yet through the devastation, they encountered the comfort and healing presence of God—and now walk with others through similar valleys. Their story is one of honest grief, supernatural peace, and miraculous restoration.

Gentry holds multiple theology degrees from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and Southern Evangelical Seminary. Hadley is a gifted encourager and spiritual mentor. Together, they are the grateful parents of twin boys, Isaiah and Amos. Their heart is to help you find hope and healing in God’s presence, even when life doesn’t make sense.
